Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information forme collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it plain and honest. forme is run by MCCFIT LABS LTD, the data controller, from the United Kingdom.

The short version

forme is built to be private and respectful. Your food logs and goals live primarily on your device. If you create an account, that data is synced securely so it follows you between devices. We do not sell your data, and we never share it to advertise to you.

Information we collect

• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist on this website, we store the email address you give us so we can tell you when forme is ready.
• Account details. If you sign in to the app, we store your email address to identify your account. We use a one time code sent by email to sign you in.
• Your goals and diary. The goals you set and the foods you log. This is the information forme needs to give you a personal score.
• Meal photos. If you use photo logging, the photo is sent securely to be analysed and is not kept after the foods are estimated.
• Usage analytics. Anonymous, aggregated events about how the app is used, such as a scan being completed, so we can improve forme. These are not used to track you across other apps or websites.
• Crash and diagnostic data. If the app crashes or hits an error, we collect a crash report and basic technical information about your device and the app version, so we can find and fix problems. This is used to keep forme stable, not to identify or track you.

How we use your information

• To calculate your personal food scores and show your day.
• To sync your data securely between your devices.
• To send you the small number of emails you would expect, such as a sign in code or a waitlist note.
• To understand how forme is used so we can make it better.

Where your data is stored

Account data, your goals and your diary are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers in the European Union. Anonymous usage analytics are processed by Mixpanel, also on European Union servers.

Meal photo analysis and meal suggestions are carried out using Google's AI models. Photos and the goals needed to make a suggestion are sent for processing only to produce the result and are not retained by forme afterwards. Nutrition information is sourced from Open Food Facts and the United States Department of Agriculture FoodData Central.

Crash and diagnostic reports are processed by Sentry, our error monitoring provider, on servers in the European Union, so we can detect and fix problems in the app.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above, and only so they can perform their part of running forme. We may disclose information if we are required to by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to ask us to stop using it. You can delete your account from within the app, which removes your synced data. To make any other request, or to be removed from the waitlist, email us at hello@formehealth.app.

Children

forme is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as forme grows. If we make a meaningful change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
