TDEE calculator
Work out the calories you burn in a day, then get a daily target and macros for your goal. It uses the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, the same maths the forme app uses.

forme sets this target automatically, then tracks your calories and macros from a quick scan, led by a personal food score. No maths, no logging every gram.
What is TDEE?
TDEE stands for Total Daily Energy Expenditure: the total number of calories your body burns in a day, including staying alive at rest, digesting food, moving around and exercise. Eat below it to lose weight, at it to maintain, and above it to gain.
How is TDEE calculated?
In two steps. First your BMR (the calories you burn at rest) from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, then multiplied by an activity factor from 1.2 (sedentary) to 1.9 (extremely active). The calculator does both for you.
How accurate is it?
It is a well-validated estimate, not an exact figure, since real expenditure varies day to day. Use the number as a starting target and adjust to your scale trend over two to three weeks.
